A transcript of each day's proceedings can be found here, organised by date.
The transcripts are a record of what is said during each day's hearing and will include for example statements by Inquiry Counsel, and oral evidence given by witnesses at the hearings.
Transcripts also include Inquiry Unique Reference Numbers (URNs) for pre-existing material referred to by Inquiry Counsel or a witness in the course of their oral evidence.
Reference numbers for documents which were created by the Inquiry in the course of oral hearings (and which did not at that time have an URN) will be listed in the order that they were created on the page relating to the relevant day's transcript.
Pre-existing material and documents prepared for the Inquiry are accessible through the documents page within the evidence section.
You can select a specific transcript by clicking on a date below. The transcript is available in two formats: PDF (which should be accessible to everyone) and is split into morning and afternoon sittings; and a LiveNote version (for those with LiveNote software installed on their PC/laptop).
The PDF version allows easy navigation through the document (with the use of the scrollbar at the side of the screen); easy searching (CTRL + F); and allows you to customise the layout for printing (see the Documents Options section from within Print- Properties-Finishing), such as 4 pages of transcript to one sheet of A4.
To download a version of the transcript for use in LiveNote, select an individual transcript by clicking on the link "Click here to download the LiveNote version". The transcript will open as a text document which can be saved to your personal computer by means of a memory stick or CD/DVD for import onto a personal computer on which LiveNote is installed by selecting "File" and "Save As" on your browser menu.
