On 17 September 2008 Sir Anthony Campbell announced the appointment of Senior and Junior Counsel to the Inquiry and the Inquiry Solicitor & Secretary, and the launch of the Inquiry’s website.
On 17 September 2008 the Inquiry issued the following press release:

The Inquiry also placed the following Public Notice to be carried in the national press of 18 September 2008.

On 7 October 2008 the Inquiry announced the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as the venue for the Initial Hearing of the Fingerprint Inquiry. The same hearing venue will be used for the Procedural Hearing, which is planned to take place on Friday 21 November 2008.
There is then likely to be a preparatory period before the Inquiry hears evidence in a programme of hearings.
The venue for those hearings has yet to be determined.
